Located in Northwestern Argentina, the Salta & Jujuy regions are filled with striking contrasts. Multicolored deserts, salt flats, mountains, canyons, and lush forests cover the landscape, with charming historic towns thriving against these stunning natural backdrops. Our tour offers an immersive experience: a blend of the natural and cultural beauty that Salta & Jujuy have to offer.

Kosher Information:
Three meals plus snacks are provided daily. All food provided on the trip is kosher under certified hashgachas, in line with the high standards of the local Chabad of Salta. Additionally, all packaged food served has mehadrin kosher labels.
The daily schedule includes davening 3 times daily (Shachris, Mincha, and Maariv). We will confirm minyanim once enough men sign up.
Shabbos is hosted by the Chabad of Salta.

Pricing:
The total price includes:
Hotels, transfers and transportation, food, guides, tips for local service providers, entrance fees.

The total price excludes:
Flights, insurance, cellular plans, passports, tips for the tour leader (recommended $15 per day of travel), anything not specified in “The total price includes”.
You may like to bring some extra cash if you plan to buy souvenirs.

Tentative Itinerary:
Wednesday | January 6
Wednesday is reserved as a travel day. Plan to arrive in Salta on Thursday. Pickup from SLA airport is provided on Tuesday afternoon.

Thursday | January 7
Settle in at our accommodations in Salta, the capital city of Argentina’s Salta Province. Free time is given for you to explore the city center.

Friday | January 8
We will take part in a guided city tour, learning about Salta’s history, architecture, and scenery. Later, we will prepare for an uplifting shabbos with Chabad of Salta.

Shabbos | January 9
We will have shabbos davening, seudos, and programming with Chabad in Salta. Shabbos will be a day to relax and enjoy spending time in the beautiful city.

Sunday | January 10
We will explore Los Cardones National Park, a high-altitude desert featuring breathtaking mountain views, giant cardón cacti, and exotic wildlife.

Monday | January 11
We will journey to Purmamarca, a small historic town at the base of This Hill of 7 Colors. Next, we will explore the expansive Salinas Grandes salt flats, taking in the surreal landscape. We will stay the night in the town of Purmamarca.

Tuesday | January 12
We will spend time in the small towns of Humahuaca, Tilcara, Maimara, and Uquia: authentic Andean towns, each filled with their own unique scenery and charm. We will return to Salta for the night.

Wednesday | January 13
We’ll pack up and say our goodbyes to Argentina, reflecting on our journey together. We will head to the airport, leaving everyone to embark on their individual paths homeward.
