About:
Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, hosts the largest Jewish community in Latin America. The city is often referred to as the “Paris of South America” for its French-style architecture, wide boulevards, and café culture. Iguazu Falls, the world’s largest waterfall system, sits on the Argentina-Brazil border and offers spectacular panoramic views.  This tour invites you to visit 3 distinct countries, experience their vibrant cultures, and immerse yourself in their beauty.

Kosher Information:
Three meals plus snacks are provided daily. All food provided on the trip is kosher under certified hashgachas, in line with the high standards of the local Chabad. Additionally, all packaged food served has mehadrin kosher labels.
The daily schedule includes davening 3 times daily (Shachris, Mincha, and Maariv). We will confirm minyanim once enough men sign up.

Pricing:
The total price includes:
Hotels, transfers and transportation, flights to and from Iguazu Falls, food, guides, tips for local service providers, entrance fees.

The total price excludes:
Flights at the beginning and end of the tour, insurance, cellular plans, passports, tips for the tour leader (recommended $15 per day of travel), anything not specified in “The total price includes”.
You may like to bring some extra cash if you plan to buy souvenirs.

Sample Itinerary

December 20 | Sunday

Sunday is reserved as a travel day. Plan to arrive in Buenos Aires on Monday Morning. Pickup from EZE airport is provided.

December 21 | Monday

Arrive at the accommodations in Buenos Aires. Spend the afternoon on a guided tour of the city.

December 22 | Tuesday

We will fly as a group to Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world. The Falls sit on the border of Argentina and Brazil. After dropping off our bags at the hotel, we will head to the Argentina side of Iguazu Falls. We will stay in the town of Puerto Iguazu for the night.

December 23 | Wednesday

We will head across the border into Brazil to take in panoramic views of Iguazu Falls. Next, we’ll head to the triple frontier landmark that overlooks the border of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Later in the day we’ll fly back to Buenos Aires to continue the journey.

December 24 | Thursday

We will take an enjoyable ferry ride from Buenos Aires across the Rio de la Plata to Colonia del Sacramento, a charming historic town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, in Uruguay. We will tour the cobblestone streets, waterfront, and museums, admiring the architecture and scenery. Later, we will return to Buenos Aires by ferry.

December 25 | Friday

We will visit El Tigre, a scenic riverside town near Buenos Aires, known for its natural beauty and open-air markets. Later, we will prepare for an uplifting shabbos with Chabad in Buenos Aires.

December 26 | Shabbos

We will have shabbos davening, seudos, and programming with Chabad in Buenos Aires. Shabbos will be a day to relax and enjoy spending time in the community. 

December 27 | Sunday

We will visit landmarks and street markets in Buenos Aires. Later, we’ll pack up and say our goodbyes to Argentina, reflecting on our journey together. We will head to the airport, leaving everyone to embark on their individual paths homeward.
