About:
Argentina’s Lake District is a beautiful wilderness region situated in northern Patagonia. Snowcapped peaks of the Andes Mountains overlook glacier-fed lakes and picturesque alpine villages. Known for its scenic trails and mesmerizing lakeshores, the Patagonia Lake District is the ultimate mountain getaway destination in South America.

Kosher Information:
Three meals plus snacks are provided daily. 
All food provided on the trip is kosher under certified hashgachas, in line with the high standards of the local Chabad of Bariloche. Additionally, all packaged food served has mehadrin kosher labels.
The daily schedule includes davening 3 times daily (Shachris, Mincha, and Maariv). We will confirm minyanim once enough men sign up.

The total price includes:
Hotels, transfers and transportation, food, guides, tips for local service providers, entrance fees.

The total price excludes:
Flights, insurance, cellular plans, passports, tips for the tour leader (recommended $15 per day of travel), anything not specified in “The total price includes”.
You may like to bring some extra cash if you plan to buy souvenirs.

Sample Itinerary

Monday is reserved as a travel day. Plan to arrive Tuesday morning in San Carlos De Bariloche, a picturesque town within the Patagonian Lake District. Pickup from BRC airport is provided.

December 29 | Tuesday

Arrive at the accommodations in San Carlos De Bariloche. Spend the afternoon exploring the historic town and serene lakeshore.

December 30 | Wednesday

We will spend the day walking and hiking through Cerro Llao Llao, stopping at the many scenic viewpoints of the surrounding landscape.

December 31 | Thursday

 We will drive along the famous Ruta De Los Siete Lagos (The Seven Lakes Route), stopping at mountain lakes, waterfalls, and quaint towns along the way. We will end the day at San Martín de los Andes, a Swiss-style alpine town in the Andes Mountains.

January 1 | Friday

We will drive along The Seven Lakes Route back toward San Carlos de Bariloche, stopping at viewpoints and lakes that differ from the day before. Once in Bariloche, we will prepare for an uplifting Shabbos at the local Chabad.
 

January 2 | Shabbos

We will have shabbos davening, seudos, and programming with the Chabad of Bariloche. Shabbos will be a day to relax and soak in the beauty of the surrounding mountains. 

January 3 | Sunday

We will visit stunning waterfalls, vivid turquoise Glacial lakes, and lush forests in the Pampa Linda Valley.

January 4 | Monday

We will do a full-day trek to Refugio Frey, the crown jewel of Patagonia’s Lake District. The hike climaxes at Laguna Toncek, a glacial lake surrounded by dramatic, jagged rock spires. 
 

January 5 | Tuesday

We will pack up and say our goodbyes to Bariloche, reflecting back on our journey together. We will head to the airport, leaving everyone to embark on their individual paths homeward.
